  1. So, I'll post first. Right now ... really ... is Alicia Keys "Lessons Learned" with John Mayer. I watched the pilot episode of Hawthowne (with Jada Pinkette Smith in the lead on TNT -- Tuesday night on TNT 9pm?) last week while on the road. This song was in the closing scene. The context of the song made me fall in love with it. Turns out it was already on my iPod! Now I cannot stop playing it! I just got an iPod touch ... I'll be tranferring it to there tonight before I leave for FAMU on the red eye in the morning.

    Now, what's in your ear?

  2. Um I think I would have to lean towards Gucci" because in my opinion He's been going hard for a minute now and He has been catching MY EAR! lol, Although he is not the only one that seems to spark my interest. Um Pleasure P " Boyfriend Number 2 has also sparked my interest along with Trey Songs- I Need A Girl. These are a couple of songs that you probably be hearing when you open my itunes or listen to my ipod. Another song that I like is Keyshia Cole- Trust that song is really nice. As you can see my genre of music is around HipHop/Rap and R&B! Thats just me!:-)

  3. I mostly to hip hop/rap and some R&B. My favorite rap artist right is Gucci Mane. I been on him for a minute. He keeps making hit, after hit, after hit. He will be in Augusta on July 3 and I will be in the building. I do have some other rappers I listen to such as Young LA, Jeezy, and J-Money, but Gucci my man right now.

  5. Well music well I won't beging to tell you what type of music I listen to because it would take forever. I do feel that you need an aray of sounds to exemplify just how much of a well rounded individual you are. For example when you need to relax some classical would be nice, and if the mood's right a little slow jams always gets things popping. Most of the time I just listen to R&B and Hip Hop but you'd be surprise at what else can be found on my playlist.

But i'm such a love bird.! Halo does somethin to me and so does Jennifer Hudson if this isnt love. When i get back from class i usually go to Pandora and turn it to the Donell Jones station. That far as rap/hip-hop go. I listen to everything else but those are cd's i keep in my radio. I also like the hometown artists like Team Irac and Marley Mar. I love slow jams to especially dream, pleasure p, and my baby girl keyshia Cole i'm going to marry her someday.

  11. I really love slow songs. I am a real girl so any real love songs can catch my attention full throttle. I also like a little rap but some of the rap that I listen to is a little to rough for me. They disrespect females and talk about alot of things that i do not approve of. Some of the Neo soul child music is soothing and calming. Sometimes I find myself just listening to it for hours at a time just remembering all the times that relate to the song.

  12. Unlike everyone else that have blogged on here my knid of music happens to be jamaican. I love the carribean melodies, with its beats that reminds me of the heart. Dont get me wrong some of the music that everyone listens to is pretty good or very toleratble but it doesnt catch my attention as mech as the jamaican music does.I am definately not dissing it because I listen to a wide variety of music, I just dont think that its mainly for me. I have broaden my horizen and picked this.

  13. You want to know whats playing in my Ipod? FLORIDA MUSIC! I do not know what it is about that deep southern music but I some how get attracted to it by listening to one of my friends CD while we were in her car one time. I thought the swagg that the Florida Boys have is so much different than the regular rap that Is out right now. Dont get me wrong the music that is being played is all rap but it just seem like they have a stronger accent. I really like this music and please believe that "Kin Folk Thugs" are my favorite right now. They have this song out called "Dump Truck" and I Love It!

  15. My favorite rap artist right is Gucci Mane. But like my boyfriend I really like the florida music also. As you can see my genre of music is around HipHop/Rap and R&B! I also like gospel. Lol I try to get my praise on with Mr. Kirk Franklin and some of the other choirs that sing some of the best gospel songs in the world. Kirk Franklin has been a major

  16. Being from the Midwest, naturally I stay listening to Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, & Big Sean. Additionally I am always playing Drake on my ipod as well. He is one of my new favorite artist!! And of course Lil Wanye a.k.a. Weezy F. Baby! We met another intern here who didn't know who Lil Wayne was and we were so shocked!! But I suppose it's a cultural thing.
